1、 Maintenance of male and female dies
1. Pay attention to the original condition of the die when disassembling the male and female dies, so as to facilitate the recovery during subsequent mold installation; If the gasket is added or displaced, the thickness of the gasket shall be engraved on the parts and records shall be made.
2. To replace the male die, try to insert the female die of the stripper block smoothly and check whether the gap between the male die and the female die is uniform; When replacing the female die, check whether the clearance between the insert and the punch is uniform.
3. In view of the fact that the punch becomes shorter after grinding the punch, it is necessary to add gaskets to reach the required length, and check whether the effective length of the punch is sufficient. To replace the broken punch, find out the reason, and check whether the corresponding die has broken edges and whether the grinding edge is required.
4. When assembling the punch, check whether the clearance between the punch and the fixing block or the fixing plate is sufficient. If there is a pressing block, check whether there is a movement allowance. The assembled female mold shall be placed horizontally, and then the flat iron block shall be placed on the female mold surface, and it shall be gently knocked in place with a copper rod. It is not allowed to be tilted and forcefully knocked in. The bottom of the female mold shall be chamfered. After installation, check whether the concave die surface is flush with the die surface.
5. After the punch, die and die core are assembled, necessary inspection shall be conducted on the care belt to check whether each part is installed incorrectly or reversely, whether the die and die cushion block are installed reversely, whether the blanking hole is blocked, whether the new parts need to be stolen, whether the materials need to be stolen are sufficient, and whether the parts that need to be locked are locked.
6. Pay attention to the confirmation of the screw locking of the stripper plate. The locking shall be carried out from the inside to the outside, with balanced force and cross locking. It is not allowed to lock one screw first and then the other screw, so as to avoid tilting of the stripper plate, leading to fracture of the punch or reduction of the accuracy of the die.
2、 Maintenance of stripper plate
1. The stripper plate can be removed by prying it up with two drivers, and then taking it out with both hands. When it is difficult to disassemble, check whether the mold is cleaned, whether all the locking screws are disassembled, and whether the mold is damaged due to material jam. Find out the reason and deal with it accordingly. Do not dispose blindly.
2. When assembling the stripper plate, first clean the punch and stripper plate, add lubricating oil at the guide post and punch introduction, place them stably, press them in place with both hands, and repeat several times. If it is too tight, find out the reason (whether the guide column and guide sleeve are normal, whether each part is damaged, whether the new punch can pass through the stripper smoothly, and whether the position is correct), and then make corresponding treatment.
3. If there is a pressure block on the fixed plate, check whether the clearance on the stripper back plate is sufficient. The material contact surface between the stripper plate and the female die will be pressed for a long time to produce indentation. When the indentation is serious, the pressing accuracy of the material will be affected, and the product size will be abnormally unstable. It is necessary to repair or regrind the stripper insert and stripper plate.
4. The constant height sleeve shall be checked for accuracy. If it is not high enough, it will cause the stripper plate to tilt, and its precision guide and stable elastic pressing function will be damaged. Therefore, it must be maintained.
3、 Adjustment of die clearance
1. The positioning holes of the die core are worn due to frequent and multiple combinations of the die core, resulting in large clearance after assembly (looseness after assembly) or uneven clearance (positioning deviation), which will cause the shape of the cross-section after punching cutting to become poor, the punch is easy to break, and burrs are generated. Appropriate clearance adjustment can be made by checking the condition of the cross-section after punching cutting.
2. When the clearance is small, the cross-section is small; when the clearance is large, the cross-section is large and the burr is large. The reasonable clearance is obtained by displacement. After adjustment, proper records shall be made, and marks can also be made on the edge of the female die for subsequent maintenance.
3. In daily production, pay attention to collecting and preserving the material belt of the original mold in good condition. If the subsequent production is not smooth or the mold changes, it can be used as a reference for mold maintenance.
4. In addition, the auxiliary system, such as whether the ejector pin is worn, whether it can be ejected, and whether the guide pin and bushing are worn, should be inspected and maintained.
4、 Inspection of guide parts
1. Check the fit clearance of guide post and guide sleeve, whether there is burn or wear mark, and whether the oil feeding state of mold guide is normal.
2. The wear of the guide and the destruction of the accuracy will reduce the accuracy of the mold, and the various parts of the mold will have problems. Proper maintenance and regular replacement must be carried out. Check the accuracy of the material guide. If the guide pin is worn and has lost its proper belt guide accuracy and function, it must be replaced. Check the condition of the stripper spring and the ejector spring to see if they are broken or if they have been used for a long time but have lost their original strength due to fatigue. Regular maintenance and replacement must be carried out, otherwise, the mold will be damaged or the production will not be smooth
